The City


  • La Paz is LSFexpeditions main headquarters offering a range of interesting outdoor activities that include swimming with whale sharks, swimming with sea lions, whale watching and bird watching.

  • La Paz has temperatures ranging from 24 to 27°C from November to May.

  • The “malecón” is a 3 mile long pedestrian waterfront that is lined with bars and restaurants. It’s the center of life in La Paz and is a great place to take early morning walks or runs. Staying on the malecón is sure to provide unforgettable sunsets over the Sea of Cortez.

  • The Sea of Cortez is one of the richest bodies of water on the planet. Be sure to book your LSFexpedition that includes great snorkeling, scuba diving (on request) or beach combing on the surrounding islands. Visibility is amazing and the waters teem with more than 800 different species of fish.

The Boat


  • Multi-person Pangas that fit up to 14 people at a time. Ensuring you always get the best view of what ever animal we discover! All Pangas are fully safety equipped and prepped. All of which is approved to American safety standards by our head safety officer.

The Hotel


  • Located on the beautiful Malecón, it has 48 rooms and 12 suites with beautiful ocean views where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets of the port of illusion.

  • All rooms include: Breakfasts from Mon to Sat from 7 am to 10 am, Parking lot, Security boxes, Continental breakfast, Laundry service, TV-Cable, WiFi Internet, Dryer, and Coffee maker
